Sri Pancharathra Aagamas mention various upacharams (உபசாரங்கள்) to the Lord. Amongst these, Pushpothsavam known as Pushpa Yaagam is considered very special.
The annual event was commenced in the Temple in 2007. This year, Lord Srinivasa and His Consort Sri Alarmelmanga have willed to relish this Upacharam in the august presence of Srimath Azhagiyasingar.
A special procession of Lord Srinivasa and Swami Desika will be undertaken in the evening after the Paththi Ulaaththal which will feature Thayar also. The idols will be accorded full floral decoration and floral umbrella.
Devotees are requested to attend in large numbers and receive the bountiful blessings of the Divya Dhampathis, Swami Desika and the Pontiff.
