The Brahmothsavam of Sri Srinivasa Perumal of our Sri Vedantha Desikar Devasthanam is slated to commence on 25th May 2009. The highlights of the 10-day annual event which concludes on June 3rd are Garuda Sevai, Yanai Vahanam (Esal) and Thiruther.
Apart from the Vahana Purappadu in the mornings and evenings, there will be daily Thirumanjanam in the mornings and Pathi Ulaathal in the evenings.
Devotees are requested to take part in the festival in large numbers and receive the blessings of the Lord.

The morning and evening processions are scheduled at 7.00 a.m. and 8.00 p.m. respectively. However, on the third day and fifth day morning, the purappadu will begin at 5.30. a.m.
As it has been for over a 100 years, Vedaparayana Sabha, an organisation affiliated to the Temple, is sponsoring the Thadheeyaaradhanam and Sambhavana of the Vedic scholars during the festival.
